Keith Tong is a graduate of the international Quantum University for Integrative Medicine with multiple credentials in holistic health, including a bachelor’s degree in holistic health science. He is currently a holistic healthcare practitioner and continues to expand his knowledge and skills through the masters degree program, and eventually the doctorate program in Integrative and Natural Medicine. This approach to healthcare is where he has found his life’s work.
In the business world, he is first and foremost an entrepreneur. He spent many years in various industries in Canada, working for someone else. After marrying, Helen and Keith became partners in both life and business.
Full of energy and idealism, they opened a pharmacy and were soon doing something they loved and believed in. Within 6 years, they successfully opened two more pharmacies. At their peak, these businesses grossed over $5 million dollars in revenue, employed over 40 people and filled a thousand prescriptions per day.
Nine years into their business ventures, Keith and Helen decided to embark on an entirely new path for helping people with health issues. Rather than sell drugs, they wanted to help prevent disease and ease symptoms and decided to open a new business with a more personal line of services.
The Pure5 Wellness Hub is a well-appointed clinic offering a wide range of natural health care solutions and therapeutic method that help the body heal. The high quality of services and calibre of therapists form exactly what the name describes: a wellness hub.

With an interest in the human body since childhood, Susan pursued studies in biology at SFU. Through various volunteer positions, including St. Joseph Hospital in London, Ontario, she interacted with many long-term care patients and realized the huge importance of maintaining one’s health.
This realization prompted her to switch her studies to Traditional Chinese Medicine, as these types of treatments help people with chronic and complicated diseases. With her enthusiasm in TCM, she also attended the clinical study and observation program at The Korean Medicine Hospital of Kyung Hee University, Korea.
Susan uses diverse TCM techniques based on each client’s condition, such as facial, scalp and ear acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, acu-pressure, cupping and moxibustion – a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials (moxa) are burned near the surface of the skin to warm and invigorate the flow of qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.
Her treatments address a broad range of conditions and illnesses including musculo-skeletal pain, traumatic injuries, digestive issues, gynecological problems, sleeping disorders, emotional disturbance, and facial rejuvenation. Her ultimate goal is to help every patient improve their health and find a balanced life.
Susan graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree, then completed the five-year doctorate program (acupuncture and TCM herbs) at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver.
Stephanie Running grew up in the Fraser Valley; her personal interests include gatherings with family and friends, travel and competitive Irish dance. As a dancer, Stephanie found massage therapy to be the most effective way to maintain her health and deal with injury.
Stephanie moved to Vancouver to attend Langara college, where she found herself dabbling in general studies, but her heart always brought her back to massage and health.
Stephanie is very proud to have been a part of the first class to graduate from Langara’s registered massage therapy program, where she had the opportunity to work with athletes, clients with traumatic spinal cord injuries as well as the general public, including the elderly and hospice patients. She acquired her RMT diploma in December of 2015 and passed her board exams the following spring.
As the newest member of the Pure5 Wellness Hub family, Stephanie looks forward to expanding her knowledge base, assisting patients of every kind and giving back to the profession.
Stephanie believes that finding the balance between therapeutic treatment and relaxation is paramount to creating the most effective health care plan for every patient.
Wendy-Jo has been living on the North Shore most of her life were she went to high school, working at the local Recreation Centres and for the North Vancouver school board. In addition, she comes from a background in Fitness Leadership, Teaching and Outdoor Recreation. Prior to her massage career she had her first introduction into massage therapy after having a motor vehicle accident. Dealing with her own challenges from the motor vehicle accident (3 MVA in total) and knowing how massage was a valuable & significant part of her plan for recovery she was Inspired in choosing a new career path change to become a Registered Massage Therapist.
The massage therapy I received gave me insight into what patients go through and what is required to recover from whiplash injuries. Therefore she feels very confident working with upper back, neck and shoulder problems as her experiences as a patient and therapist have taught her the healing powers of a good massage therapy treatment plan.
She started her journey in 2001 as a Spa Therapist working as as a bodyworker and Hydrotherapists practising for 10 years while she was raising her children. However her interest in understanding the complexities of human anatomy and physiology were the driving force that prompted her to learn more about massage therapy. Once her children were older she attended the 3000 hour program at Utopia Academy of massage therapy and graduated in 2010.
She believes in a holistic approach to her massage therapy treatments & encourages her patients to have some time & space to unwind before & or after the massage as the mind, body, spirit connection works in conjunction together…After all the massage therapist doesn’t just treat the muscular system but we have a direct impact on the whole nervous system.
When Wendy-Jo treats you, you can be assured that she comes from a diverse massage background and has 18 years of extensive experiences ….from spas to clinics to teaching massage therapy as well as clinic owner. She likes to approach her treatment with a blended style of therapeutic and relaxation, and because she has a background in fitness therapeutic exercises/stretching are always recommended for the after care plan for her patients.
